Sweat

When I was younger I never had any issues with sweating.

Now, I sweat all of the time.

I sweat when I go to story time by myself, and am checking out books, carrying a giant bag, carrying Ella on my hip and trying to watch Ava while she's trying out her new walking skills.

I sweat at Target when Ella starts to get antsy.

I sweat when we are out to eat and I am trying to "fake" that we as a family have it together and my
two toddlers can handle themselves in public. (because obviously all 18 month olds are perfectly behaved dinner guests...)

Basically, I just sweat all of the time now.

Those moments above are just like the high stress times, not even the super fun times when we are playing and sweating happens "naturally".

Toddlers are literally the most exhausting creatures that have ever roamed this earth.

I am tired all day long. It is a much different tired than I was at the beginning. That tired could have killed me.

This tired that I feel now is like; I just ran a marathon while lifting weights, cleaning the house, paying bills, making sure children were properly cared for, while running to three different libraries, and loving the crap out of two babies all day tired.

I feel that sweat is required for this kind of job.

I decided to write this post as I watched my girls play tonight. They make me sweat just watching them.

They are so rough and wild right now. They are so impossibly cute that I literally can't stand it.

I joined in on their twin play session tonight and can't even describe the fun and laughs that were had.   They are exhausting little creatures that have captured every ounce of my being.

When you get the title of Mom someone should really do us all a favor and buy us a reliable deodorant.  ;-)
