So, to catch you up on current events in twin world, we are trying to sleep through the night now! We decided that we would just see if they could make it through without our midnight feeding. Last night was our trial. It went really well! We had some crying, nothing drastic; and then they fell back asleep. I actually had to wake them up at 7:00. We are going to try again tonight and see if the crying dies down each night. (fingers crossed)
The girls are moving around like crazy these days. I feel like we are going to have early crawlers on our hands, but we will have to wait and see. Ella insists on sleeping on her tummy all night now, Ava is starting to sleep on her side. Nap time might be their favorite time of day now! :-)
For the most part, they are so tired at nap time they are basically begging me to lay them down in their beds. This is wonderful!
At night we used to hold them after their bottles until they fell asleep. Just within this past week it seems like they would just prefer us to lay them in their beds instead. :-( They wiggle and wiggle in our arms and just can't get comfortable. Although this is kind of sad, it makes me happy that they can find comfort in their beds. I know that for many families this is not the case.
We have our 6 month pictures coming up on the 14th, I cannot wait to see how they turn out. We have a few poses where we would like them to be sitting up on their own, we will see if we are able to do that by then. If not we will improvise.
For now that is really all I have to report, here are a few pictures of the past week to get you caught up! Look for Josh's next post coming soon!
